Today I took the miniature pinschers and got their nails trimmed. They needed it badly. Now they can walk and I don't hear their nails clipping the floor. The lady who trimmed their nails at the pet store said they were very well behaved. She just adores my miniature pinschers. The workers are always amazed at how social they are to people and generally want attention from everyone. That makes me happy to know I am doing something right with my miniature pinschers.
Daisy seems to squirm and yelp every time you touch on one side of her neck. I am thinking more on her shoulder joint. The other day she came running and ran right into the electric heater. No folks it was no on.
She was running to fast and couldn't make the turn to go outside. She put her paws up to stop her. Well, her claws got stuck in the heater. She wiggled and twisted alot. I happen to be there and got her calmed down. While I held her to calm her. Little "M" helped get her claws out. That made her really happy. But she does not like to be touched in that spot since that happened. She moves her neck fine, walks and runs great to.

I hope your she feels better. Cute dog. Glad they enjoy their trip to the doggie nail salon.
I hope she does to. Other than touching her she does not show any other signs of hurting.
They were both ready to leave. When I asked them if they wantedto the van to ge their nails trimmed. They ran to he front door.
Great photo and she is very pretty.
We had to do our dogs nails recently. It's something we put off too long because our dogs don't like it but they were pretty long so it had to be done. Fortunately my mother came over and between the two of us we got it done quickly and without pain for the dogs. Poor little Daisy, hurting herself. I hate it when the dogs get hurt, poor little things.
Such a cute dog
Hope she feels better soon.
What a cute dog!! Our Keishounds need their nails clipped right now too but don't like having this done by us so we're going to have to bite the bullet and take them to Petco for this.
Sorry your pup got hurt but hope she gets better soon!
It is so nice to hear that your mini pins are social. The only one that I have ever known was pretty nasty, he even bit my goat. You must be such a great doggie mommy:) Hopefully Daisy just bruised herself and she will be ready to be touched there soon.
I haven't had to get Murphy's nails trimmed yet, but I am going to give him a shower today. He smells!
I love my doggies. To me they are one of my kids that need atending to. My kids always have someone over. So, I taught both of them to love people. Theywill growl if they hear something near the house or if someone comes in and they can't see them. Very ggod watch dogs. Tey will even try and bite ankles of people they don't know. Now if they get teased they will remember and not like that person. One of my teens friends was teasing my maledog. Now he tried to bite him in the ankle every time he comes over. I am not sure what he did. But Max has not forgotte it. They also love going for a ride in the van they did great when we moved down to Florida from Ohio.
Very cute doggies.
Great pic!
My ex sister-in-law had a dog like this, and I remember his little nails. :) They are very sweet little animals.
Poor pup! She probably has a bad bruise in that spot.
I know about the noise those little nails make! It can be so irritating!
She probably twisted when stuck in the heater, she'll get the kink out soon most likely.
Since I can let Caesar run around up the street and in the hills his nails keep themselves trimmed, just looking at that today funnily enough!
Yes, I think it may be a twist because other than touching that spot she seems fine.
It is hard to accomplish with MinPins but try to keep her resting!
That is what I have been doing. I have been keeping her in the house while the kids play outside.
she is the cutest pup I seen in a long time ,,,
Thank you for your sweet sweet comment.
Your dogs are so cute.
You do have adorable dogs. I need to take my two in for a nail trim as well, I'm afraid to do it myself, particularly on my large dog.
cute dog hope it is ok
Awww, poor puppy :-( Mine are always hurting themselves as well, running into what not. When we take them to the farm, they just HAVE to play right next to the barbed wire fence *sigh*. Its impossible to try to control them lol. I bring mine to the vet to get their nails trimmed. Its only $3 more then petsmart... and I feel safer. Datz has had severl nail mishaps, so I freak out when they need to be cut lol.
She's an adorable pup.
