Our new furniture has arrived: photo essay

Today our new living room furniture arrived and we are already enjoying it.  Of course, our cats had to sniff it all over and be the first to try it out.  Here are some photos.  The first is our new glider loveseat.

The next pics are the sofa.  I couldn't fit it all into one picture!  Simba is on the back.

The next picture is the chair with the ottoman beside it (so it took up less room).

The next pictures show one of our cats Blaze trying out the new furniture to see which she wants to lay on first.

Now that you have seen our new living furniture I hope you will like it as much as we do.  By the way, this is my very first photo essay!

Diana, we got the furniture at Art Van's. I always shop there first. It's the closest furniture store to where we live.

Janet, when you described the furniture before it sounded like it would be a Christmasy red and green w/the carpet........This doesn't look Christmasy at all!....it looks like it blends very well in the room and with the carpet. Enjoy!

Ah, cats. The homey touch. How do you get them trained so they don't scratch the new furniture? But then, a room hardly looks lived in without a few cat hairs and rips.

Marsha, to get the pictures all on the article, click on one at a time after you upload it and it opens in a new window, then drag it into the article. Type between the photos if you want, then click on the next picture and drag it into the article too. And keep doing it until you have included all the photos you want.

Wilhelmine, the cats don't scratch the furniture because they have all been declawed. We have 12 cats and 10 have been declawed. I don't let the other two with claws into the living room. They stay in my room and claw up my box springs!

Your new furniture is lovely. The furniture color goes very nicely with the color of your cats, too, so it looks like it will hide the animal hair well. I don't know about you, but as soon as I finish vacuuming, it seems like I have to start all over again - lol.
