The first place we stopped, of course, was the giraffes. There was a mother, a father, and a baby who was only a year old (it was big news a year ago when it had been born there, and we had the chance to see it then, too!).
Anyway, I thought I would share the few pictures I took of the giraffes. Everyone loves giraffes, as I found out...lol.
The father was so tall! He made a very nice model, and was quite obliging for several shots before he got tired with us.

We were able to lure him back out, though, as sick of us as he was, with the promise of food...hehe. They sure do have long tongues, too, though I wasn't fast enough to get a picture of that (my camera takes a while to turn back on).

And here are the happy Mommy and Daddy. The father's the bigger one, which, obviously, makes the mother the smaller one.

The baby was just barely big enough, at one year, to stick his head over the fence. ^_^ He was trying awfully hard, though!

Well, thanks for visiting the giraffes with me. :) Where to next? Hmm. Maybe tomorrow I'll post about the petting zoo. :D
