Last month I shared some photos of my garden and today I took some new pictures. It's amazing how differntly some of the flower beds look and which new plants have come in bloom. I suppose I should take pictures more often just so I pay closer attention to the transformations in my garden.
This is the shady border on the north side of my house, and along one side of my patio. It has quite a few Solomon Seal, Hosta, Astilbe, Coral Bells, and Japanese Painted Ferns.

This is the border along the back fence. This is where all the peonies were in bloom in my previous photo essay. Now the peonies are just green foliage, and instead I have some lilies, coneflower, rose campion, and other assorted plants in bloom. I never realized it until I saw this photo, but I must have been in a "purple" mood when I was buying plants for this border.

Here's a close up of my 'Casa Rosa' lilies. I absolutely adore lilies and told my friends that when I die I want sprays of lilies at my funeral (they thought I was being morbid).

And here's a close-up of my Purple Coneflower. I used to have some White Coneflower, but I don't know where it went.

I hope you enjoyed this really quick trip through my garden.
