While getting ready to sing at a concert at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, I took a number of photos of the many statues that lined the walls of this large worship space.

To your first question Jennifer the answer is mixed. We could not really hear each other well, but the audience herd us. I was later told that the altar area is a one way dead area, it's easier for the congreation to hear than to be heard. To the second question we sang the "Testament of Freedom" by Thompson and the "Gloria" by Rutter along with a number of smaller pieces. It was a blast.

Thanks, Christopher for allowing me to visit Our Lady of Mt. Carmel again. I was in that church once when I still lived on LI and visited it once with my sister who lives in Patchogue. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel was the patron saint of a Italian small town where our grandparents had emigrated from just after WWI.
