Our San Jose Shopping trip in Costa Rica

In the southern part of San Jose lies the famous Avenue Centrale' or what we here in America would call Central Avenue. 

 

 The Central Market

 

 

 The Artisan Market

 

 

 

 Fruit & Vegatables

 

 

 

Here we visited a huge variety of shops that offered wood products, paintings on feathers, textiles, and many many more typical art products of Costa Rica all made by local artisans. 

 In this beautiful capital city we discovered prime examples of souvenirs of our trip through Costa Rica, allowing us to acquire a great many more to remind us of our stay in this wonderful country of Costa Rica.

 Our lovely day ended at one of San Jose's typical Tico restaurants just across from the Artisan's row, were we indulged in a great meal accompanied by the best coffee I have ever tasted.

The coffee in COsta Rica is the best I have ever had. I made sure to bring home tons of it this last summer. Now I am down to 1-2 bags of it & I'll have to order it off the internet.
