On Tuesday of this week, a guy at my work, that was there to build a new Greenhouse came into the office holding this little orange kitten. He said "We found this cat....here" and handed me the kitten. I took him, not knowing that the guy was just going to walk out afterwards.
So I was left holding this little kitten...that had no home. So I showed him to everyone in the office, in hopes that someone would want this little guy.
No one pipped up, wanting him, so I appealed to my boss, "Don't we want a nursery cat?" See we already have 2 nursery dogs...so what would a cat hurt? But no, he wasn't buying it.
So then I started to appeal to my husband, he works with me, and at first he was against it. Then the kitten started sitting right at his feet, staring up at him. And finally he was holding it him, and petting him, and then he was like "If you really want him...I guess..."
So we brought him home! My daughter was so excited! We had been wanting an orange kitty ever since we lost our last cat, Patches to feline luekemia. And now one just fell into our lap...literally!
So now the hard part...figuring out a name.
Here is our list of names that we are considering. Let me know what you think, or if you have a better orange kitty name:
Hitch
Friday
Sam
Felino
El Gato
Tuesday
Grits
Biscuit
Oranges

Of the ones you list, Friday or Oranges are my favorites.

ha! cute kitty....
I do like Pumpkin and Sunny though!
They are staying at a motel, cuz they are just here to build this greenhouse. Well Tuesday morning on their drive in, they heard the cat meowing, but couldn't find him. Until they got to the nursery....then they found him & gave him to me.
Andy (Raggedy Andy)
Archie (Archie Andrews)
I'm not good at coming up with original names, but what a cute little kitty!
and I like Oscar....the name list is growing!
"Fanta"....
Which is a brand of orange soda.
and I think it would be a unique
name for an orange cat.
