I love watching the gladolia bloom each year. You never know what color they are going to be. These photos show my exploration with a camera of the gladolia. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!!
I have always thought of these flowers as funeral flowers and didn't like them....but your images today have made me reassess my prejudices....in this light, they are beautiful.
I love glads....we have grown them at past homes, but we haven't planted them here. There is nothing more beautiful than a tall vase of live glads! Great images.
I just love Gladiolas. I bought some bulbs at a local nursery here in Florida, and they started to grow, but then all died. I don't see many gladiolas here, but I did have a neighbor, and he had some beautiful pink gladiolas in his yard~

We planted glads this year, but they were overtaken by the lantern flowers. Our plans include more next year in friendlier beds.
