When President Bush dodged a shoe everyone was all offended and saying that regardless of our opinions he was President and deserved our respect...
So why is it okay to disrespect The President now?
Today people are buzzing about the Nobel Prize and Obama saying:
- "It is unfortunate that the president's star power has outshined tireless advocates who have made real achievements working towards peace..."
- "These awards were set up to recognize true human achievement not political hacks."
- "I want a nobel peace prize. I thought about global warming once while pooping. That's enough right?"
- "Peace keeping? Some would call it being a wimp."
Um, our leader just was given the Nobel Prize guys. Shouldn't we be proud of him and our country. He is our leader doesn't he deserve our respect and support even if we don't like him?
Respecting Bush was a huge deal then... When it comes to respecting our current President why is it no longer a big deal?

Elections don't make presidents,
Faux Fox, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck.
They are the only ones who get to decide who gets to be president, who is to be respected!
Back to indoctrination class for you! You are failing!
Ding. Ding. Ding! You win!
You forgot the m a i n thing. Liberals must never be respected!
that is sarcasm,
I love the Obamas as a family and President Obama as the President of this nation and I voted for him.
It is shameful when the official leader of the Republican Party cannot even say "congratulations", but must make a nasty, tacky remark.
When the President of the U. S. A. is awarded an international prize.
But it seems to me, good form would be for everyone ELSE to congratulate him. "I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments"- he struck an appropriately humble tone himself.
