I think you have to get people to advertise on it and if people click on their ads then you get paid. I think.

making money...are you going to promote yourself with it I assume for one
other ways are the ads you put on it and such

it's taken me almost 2 years just to get 15 followers, and not sure how much they really follow it.

LinkShare is an affiliate program for advertisers. On there, thus far, I have applied for the ability to advertise bliss, Champion, BocaJava, and a couple of more....I was accepted to these three. They have tons more, but not all of them would correlate with my blog. (They may have some more related to photography and cameras that would work for you.) (If you decide to sign up for LinkShare, you could go to miscmayzee.info and use the red and white add for LinkShare on the left... I get a referral (I think $2.00) if you use that. ---Shameless I know. :D

One thing you might look into is finding a sight that sells e-materials like e-books and peddling ones that are related to photography on your site. Or set up an Amazon affiliate account and then place targeted ads for photography books or equipment. (probably the better alternative)

It doesn't really fit with your product line, but Brandcaster offers the coupons.com referrals. Any company you would be interested in sharing, like Snapfish since it correlates, just google their name and affiliate program. You can usually find what you need. :)

Another possibility to is to put links to everywhere you get referall points/prizes for...things like my points. swagbucks, etc.
