I have missed you all!!! I really haven't fallen off the face of the earth, but with the warm weather here (on most days!), we have been spending a lot of time outside. We have been able to swim in the pool a few times. I am loving my new patio "living room" set--so comfy and it really is like having a living room on the deck!
I have also been busy tending to my flower beds. I extended one of them, as we do every year. We planted some wild flowers and perenials in the extended part of one of my beds. I am hoping they come up, but if they don't, I won't be devastated. My mother in law let me divide and take some of her flowers this weekend. Gotta love free flowers! So, I need to get those put into the ground. They are in plastic bags right now with water at the bottom, so I don't think they will die, but I know my time is limited.
We have been spending a lot of time with family members these days. On Saturday, we went to my mother and father-in-law's house for a cookout to celebrate my father-in-law's parents' 60th wedding anniversary. We had fun, but it was kind of bittersweet. My mother-in-law is divorcing my father-in-law and moving out west (for more info. on this, see my post from like 2 or 3 weeks ago). It may be the last time we see my father-in-law thanks to my mother-in-law's midlife crisis. On Sunday, my mom, my sister and her boyfriend (???) and 2 out of 3 of her kids came over for a cookout and swimming. The sun only stayed out a short time though, so we did eat a lot of yummy food, but didn't get to swim.
So, yes, lots of things going on, which is normal for us when the weather gets warmer. I forgot to mention that my oldest son still has Little League going on, so that also occupies our time these days.

The outdoor activities sound great. I'll get to start doing that next week. This is my last week of work and then I get summer vacation. I hate starting work 2 weeks before school starts.

Awwwww, I love you guys!!! =) I do miss it here, but there is just something about being outside playing with the kids...it's truly wonderful. And they are getting big so fast.
Enjoying your children and spending time with family always comes first. There will plenty of time to visit Gather on the rainy days.

It's good to see you back I'm glad you and your family is having a great summer.
I've been living at the Hospice House for the last eight days, for up to 10 hours a day.....my sister-in-law is dying of cancer (brain and spine).........hubby won't deal with it so I've been going over and staying with her........they're now saying 24 to 48 more hours and that's it (that was stated by the doctor this morning/Monday).......so it'll probably be tomorrow or Wednesday.....then, last week my 98 yr. old uncle in South Dakota died....I couldn't even get to the funeral up there, so they videotaped the funeral and service...I just got the DVD in the mail today but haven't had time to watch it! It's really been a tough, tough last couple of weeks here.......no fun, no vacations......just hanging out at the Hospice House....LOL!

I have been fighting with the school but finally got a little help for my daughter. My teen son has been arrested again. My middle son got two awards..one for cutest boy inclass the other or being a math wizard forgetting a 5 on fcat..not mny can say they can achive tat high in his grade at his school.
