This is going to be the photos I don't have enough of to categorize into their own posts. We didn't eat any full meals there (they're too small, and too expensive!), but we did get a few snacks through out the day. First off, when we paid our admission, we were offered a re-fillable soda bottle for $10. Now, that seems pricey, but it's $5 for a 20 ounce soda in the park- I am SO not joking!
And the bottle is 32 ounces, and the refills were only $.99 each. We filled it 3 times total, the first one being included with the price. So, for $12, we shared 96 ounces of soda (way more soda than I'm used to drinking over the course of a week!). To buy it separate, we'd have paid a LOT more than that.
Anyway, when we got to the first food booth to redeem the coupon, they had fries that looked and smelled heavenly, smothered in cheese. We got some, and shared as we walked. We got fries again later at a different booth, and they were decent, but no where near as tasty.
We got a pretzel to share at one point, then just before close, we got a bag of cotton candy to take to the hotel, and an elephant ear to share. Mmm....
Turns out, I had a LOT more of these photos than I thought, so I will be posting a second part later!

It looks like a great place to spend some quality time together Heather. I hope you both got to laugh a lot!
Looks like a fun day!
I have heard of this one and always wanted to go..
Great pictures Heather! Good deal on the soda.
I really do hate it that everything was so expensive,. I also really, really appreciate you sharing these I would love to visit here myself it looks like a lot of fun.
The prices are high, I don't like that at all. I brought a few packs of fruit snacks in for myself to eat if I got munchy, and we went to Pizza Hut for food after we left the park. If it had been a longer day, I'd have left halfway through, gone to McDonalds down the street (closest fast food place), and eaten there, had a break from the park, then gone back.
That is why I never leave home LOL. So expensive for everything.
great pictures
Thanks everyone! We had an awesome time. Just having a few days break from the kids was nice, and getting to go somewhere we love going was great!
Thanks for the pics, I havent been there in 14 years once I think about it...
Great photos. I can understand why you enjoy going there, it looks like a blast.
Those are awesome pictures...thanks for sharing your day!
It looks like a neat place to visit! I'd like to go :)
Oh I love Cedar Point! I worked there for 2 summers way way way back in the day! Give me ROLLER COASTERS!! and amusement park food and I am one happy camper!!!!
I would LOVE to have worked there! Sure, long hot hours, but unlimited access to the park!
the best part was being able to ride ride when you were not working!!! as much as you wanted.....
It looks like you had an absolutely AWSOME time!! Just one question, though. What the heck is an Elephant's Ear?
Fried dough covered in cinnamon and sugar! Mmmm... I'll post pics of that today!
what is an elepant ear.....oh dear Leah, we must enlighten you!!!! they are soooo stinkin' tasty!!
It looks like a lot of fun there.
looks like a fun place to visit
Cedar Point is fun, next time bring some water and healthy snacks- french fries and pop *cringe* eating good! :-P
Oh, but Cedar Point isn't the place to be on a diet! Besides, all that walking worked it off! ;)
Wow, that looks like a great time! And you got me so hungry with that talk of french fries lol!
Mmmm...cheesey fries! I think is is really cool how they mix in some old fashion stuff with the park.
Great deal on the refillable bottle. I need to remember that for our trip. We'll be there several days, so I'm bringing Lunchables and fruit and things like that, so we won't eat too much at the park either. Too expensive.
