Up an At 'Em

It's morning- a morning I've been waiting for! The kids go back to school in 30 minutes. Oh, the joy! The peace! The quiet! They've finished eating, and are rounding up their backpacks now. Chris and Gilly have both already tried the "I don't feel good..." I told em tough.

Neither went to bed very well last night. Gilly was my fault- she fell asleep mid day for a nap, and instead of getting her up, I let her sleep. Chris, on the other hand, was doing it just to do it. I heard a noise at 11:30, and came out of the bedroom to find Gilly on the couch, playing with a DS.

She said, "Hi Mom- Chris is on the computer!", and pointed out towards the dining room where the kids computer is set up at. He came into the room smiling sheepishly. We sent them to bed. Told em to go to sleep. For a full 5 minutes, they were upstairs screaming at each other until Nick went up there and yelled again. After that, they were silent.

It's supposed to be mid 40's only, and rainy today. Yuck! I hate cold rainy days. I love storms and rain, but only when it's somewhat warm out. Or, if I'm inside and don't have to go out in it.

I have to go into the school at noon, and at 2:00 today, first to give Chris his meds, then to help Gilly's teacher with the Tuesday folders.
