Gillian Has An Infection

Nothing big- he said it didn't look like strep, just a regular infection that's been keeping her sick off and on over the past few weeks. We wound up going to a different Urgent Care than we usually do. It's located in the hospital, but has limited hours. It didn't open until 10.

After we got done, I took her to Walmart to fill the prescription, which took almost an hour. -sigh- Poor kiddo was so tired, I laid her in the cart and she used her coat for a pillow so she could lay down and get some sleep. I picked up a few odds and ends while we waited.

By the time we left, it was almost time for Chris's meds, so I called and had him go to the office early, and went there to get those to him, before bringing Gilly home. Turns out, despite asking 5 times if he had his lunch, he did not. It was in the fridge. I offered him Gilly's, which was in her backpack in the car, but he didn't want a Tinkerbell lunch. Go figure.

I went ahead and checked with the office, and gave them $2 for a hot lunch for him. He'll be happy, he loves hot lunch. I hate $1.90 a day, though.

Now, we're home, Gilly's got a bed on the sofa, and I threw in Madagascar 2 for her, which came as a surprise in the mail yesterday from Columbia House. I hate the automatic mailings. I never remember to turn down the directors selection. This month and last we got surprise movies. At least they were one's we liked. Last month was Saw 5.
