Yeah! They Moved the links for

Related Articles & More Articles
The Curious New Feature presented Gather members with Monday night's system upgrade has itself been updated today! The links to Related Articles and More Articles of the author you are reading have been moved clear to the bottom of page, all the way down below the last comment. You will also find the article's Tags and the groups that article was published to at the bottom of the page.

!!! YEAH !!!

Good moves on all four items, gets them where they really should be!

Hey, I just noticed this earlier. I like it much better this way. It was very distracting right below the article as it was before I thought. Not distracting at all now.

I'm glad that part got fixed...but I'm still getting that darn loading image when I try to edit articles...MEDIA BYTES is on hold cause I can't get into the article!

I like the increased emphasis on the article itself, and the movement of the groups and tags is something that should have been done long ago. However, down the road I would like to see them moved back up (at least the "More By" info), but delineated from the article in a more prominent way. Placing them below the comment section will greatly reduce the number of people that view them as there are many 'readers' of content on Gather that do not comment. Thus, this valuable information is lost unless you scroll down to see it. Ultimately that isn't in anyone's best interest.

I do applaud Gather for taking such quick action on this though, but at the same time I wish that they included more user input into their design process.

Could have saved Gather a lot of bother, headache and grief had they just asked the membership prior to implementing a surprise. Once glitches are worked out, I'm all for moving "More by......" back up where it was, but if we have to get stuck with "Related articles", keep it where it currently is at the bottom of everything. I prefer to promote myself and only myself on my page. You could even move tags and groups back up, too. Just leave "Related articles" out for all I care.
