Recently we have published a couple of animal-related RPG products. The writer, Keith Neilsen, has been working with information on real-world sharks and snakes and converting it to game mechanics for the d20 system. Well, he just finished a new product, all about spiders (just in time for Halloween!). But I need a really creepy, spidery cover photo.
So I thought we'd make it a contest. Folks can submit their spider photos, and we'll pick the best to be featured on the cover of this ebook. The winner will get a free copy of the ebook, as well as digital copies of both SHARK! and SNAKES!
Rules:
You must own the copyright to the photo
The photo must be available in a high-resolution (300 dpi or better) format, jpg, tiff, or png file
You must agree to let us use the photo for the cover art of the ebook. You grant us a non-exclusive right to use the photo with this publication. You retain all other rights to the photo.
Winner will be selected October 22nd.
Those are the only rules.
You can post a link to your submission below, or send me a PM with a link to your submission.

Yes, they must be of actual spiders, not spider-like people!
In the meantime, I searched through your photos (which are beautiful by the way!) and found the 2 unique spider photos that you've posted on Gather.
Here are the links to your spider photos:

Angela, dpi is dots per inch. It is the resolution of the photo. The higher the resolution, the better the photo reproduces. Whatever program you use for your photos should let you know what the resolution is. A high res is important because I will probably need to crop and size the winning photo. Small photos with a low resolution become fuzzy when enlarged to cover size.
No spider pix. But, thanks for the heads-up
