I’m planning my next Disney World vacation (Feb.2008). It’s become a yearly thing for me – can’t get enough of the Mouse! My favorite trips are taking people new to the Disney World experience but if I can’t find a Disney virgin, I just go by myself.
This time, I’ll be traveling with a co-worker and her 2 children (a 20-year-old, and a 14-year-old), all of whom are newbies to the World. Her daughter has caught the Disney bug and is helping to plan the trip. Her mother is freaking out about the financial aspects of it and has been asking questions like “will $5000 be enough?” If I could swoon in print, I would!
I want so badly to show them EVERYTHING but I know I can’t because I know I haven’t seen everything myself, yet! There’s always something new and interesting to do at Disney World.
If you could choose one thing to do at Disney World (a ride, a restaurant, whatever!), what would it be and why? There are as many favorite things at Disney as there are Disney fanatics….maybe you can help me come up with some new ideas of things to try!

I hope to make a list to save for our someday trip!
I think you can find online all the stuff to see.
Your kids ages will make a difference in what they want to see.
You could show them the list and see what they want to see!
I liked the space ride too, hope they still have it!
After Wishes there is often an electrical parade called SpectroMagic. That is awesome! So many lights...floats decorated in lights and even characters wearing costumes with lights. Pure Magic!
Haunted Castle is a must see and the Hall of Presidents. The country bear jamborie will make you throw up. There are many clubs who give discounts on tickets. Shop around. A family of four can stay outside of Disney easily under $1,600.00. There are many hotels just itching to give you discounts. Stay out at late as you possibly can...when you get right down to it, you will only use the hotel room for sleeping and taking a shower.
Soaring in Epcot is another ride that has become very popular and also has universal appeal - thrilling enough for young people but tame enough for everyone else (if that makes sense?). So go there first when you get to EPCOT.
In Animal Kingdom the 2 must rides are the Safari (go early because the animals are more active, so I am told, then) and Expedition Everest. Just be aware that Everest is a thrill ride so it may not be for everyone.
Have a great time!
