Survey: How often do you publish articles? (June 15, 2007)

I know that everyone wants to publish images right now, thanks to the '10 points per image' bounty Gather's offering - but how often do you publish articles, generally? Once per week? Once per day? Three times per day? More?

Good question. I have been having a lot of problems w/my bipolar disorder lately so I do a lot of commenting, but I have to be IN THE MOOD to publish!!! So it's sometimes daily, sometimes monthly!

I try to post daily, but that doesn't always happen - so at least weekly.

Well, I'm usually on gather Tuesday through Friday and try to post AT LEAST once per day.

I tend to post articles about once every other day. I have always been more into posting photos, especially these past few days. I also spend more time commenting than doing my own articles.

Not nearly as often as I have them rolling around in my head, Austin!
Since I try to create interesting content, I only publish about twice a week. I publish photos even less than that.

I try to post an article a day...it doesn't always happen. Every so often I will post 2, if something hits me.

I publish when I can. I thought I'd have a little more time when I went on my summer vacation, but since I have started watching my granddaughter, there is no rest for the weary. She hasn't taken a nap all week, so I have been kept hopping. And, yes, I love it!

I do it in spurts. I forgot about (i.e.-completely avoided) Gather for quite a while after the first couple weeks....and now that I'm back, I've written a few things here and there. I'm getting ready to leave for 2 months, though, and everything else takes priority over this place, so I haven't written much of anything. When I get back, I'll probably start posting a couple things a week again.

I tend to write at night and early morning, but hey any time is good when the the mood hits you. I enjoy writing and I range from 1 to 4 articles a day. Maybe someday I can sort them all out and make a book of observations. Who knows! I enjoy writing and it makes me feel useful. After all after one fills out a sudoko or crossword puzzle book, what do you have? Something to throw away, it's use is gone...

Austin - I have not published a whole lots but tend to write when the mood strikes me! I think long and hard about what I want to say. I have written about Twins which is really my life story and only a few have read it. I also wrote Swimming with My Dad and only two have read it. I don't know why some read only a few things. I get caught up in reading everyone's articles and enjoy it so much - including yours! If I publish 3 in one week I am doing good! Thanks for sharing this! It is definitely a thought!

I try to publish a couple of articles every couple of weeks. Other times I feel ambitious and let the mood move me!

O publish when I need to get something off of my chest -- I rant , I rave, I also do comic relief.. So it just depends on which way the wind is blowing...

I have a lot more ideas in my head than I will ever manage to get posted. I'd like to post daily but the kids, cats, and dog don't see things my way. There are days that I don't even get to use the bathroom in peace, much less post an article.

I would love to publish more than I do... but it seems that I spend most of my time reading articles, making comments and then, it's the end of my day. Like others, I have so many ideas floating in my mind...

I'd say when something inspires me to write about it, mostly.
I know i will be glad when the 10 points for pics is over...not that I don't enjoy pics, most genuine pics I get I enjoy very much. It's the take a picture of ANYTHING (A drink coaster, can of soup, pencil and so on just for the ten points) that is beginning to get under my skin.

Melissa--I'm learning to write. So far at the rate of one "article" every two years, or biennally.
