Would you allow automakers to advertise on your car?

Advertising on cars is a great way to reduce cost. Many people would be happy to carry ads on their car, especially if they could have a choice in ads. Many businesses as well as individuals would be prepared to pay for such ads. It's a largely untapped market.

Cool idea... and yes I would.

I would let them advertise on my car, if the car was basically free or very low in cost, otherwise, not worth it to me!

Yes, I think I would. But it would be the second car of the house. I wouldn't want to drive around in that all of the time.

If it was worthwhile to me (i.e reduced cost to drive). If I rode the bus it would be plastered with ads to keep the cost down, why shouldn't a car offer the same opportunity?

Huh, go figure....!

They do advertise on it. They have their name and insignia on the front and back. If they truly want to do something like this they could give us cars that are less expensive to run and maintain. I think they are in bed with the petroleum industry.

I think it's a great idea that I would definitely take part in, especially if they were supplying drivers with a hybrid or super fuel-efficient car!

I don't wear advertisements on my clothes - why would I put them on my car?

We had a car dealership in town that would subsidise $100 of a customers monthy payment in return for their name being placed on the car, saw a lot of those cars around town.

I have a Prius and I would allow advertising on my car. They would have to pay me a monthly fee. $200.00 a month would do.
