My dad was in the Marines ( I think) stationed in Twentynine Palms and my uncle was in the Navy he was over in Japan in the fifties after the war, he sent me a very small kimono when I was little. I also have an ex student who is a Marine stationed out of Camp Pendelton , I think that is how to spell it
