Question of the week...Hillary vs. Obama

Hillary vs. Obama has lead to one of the most exciting primary races in decades. Florida and Michigan's primary elections currently don't count. Do you think those should votes count? Should they have another primary election? What are your thoughts?

I think things should stand as they are. The decision not to include them was made for a reason, and to go back on that would seem to show bias.

There should not be another primary. The people of those states have spoken and cast their ballots already. I feel they should be counted as the result stand, otherwise, the people of those states aren't having their voices heard. their votes should not be wasted and not counted as the voters did nothing wrong. It was the politicians who made the decision to move the primary dates. The citizens did their job and turned out to the polls. They shouldn't be penalized and their votes should count toward the overall totals. (I am not a Democrat, nor will I be voting for either Hilly or Oblama; no matter who wins the primary. I'm not voting Republican, either.)

I think they should count, or have a do-over. To not include all those voters or just make some kind of delegate deal doesn't sit right with me. Embarrassing actually....

I live in Michigan....I think the primary has already been done...Hilary won fair and square...Obama chose not to come here, proving that he could care less about our state, so forget him....i'm not saying i'm voting for her either mind you, but for sure it won't be for him...why vote for a person who has already shown my state doesn't matter to him?

I believe that they should be counted ... Everyone's vote should count ... What kind of message does that send to future voters in those states if we do not count them?

The rules for the primary and dates were in place and these states chose to ignore them. I don't think the votes should be counted, nor should there be a do-over.

The DNC said Michigan and Florida didn't count and that was agreed to before the primaries began. Where was the uproar about people's voices being heard when they created the rule?

That being said, I think the votes should count, but i don't think there is a fair way to include both them at this point. Hilary won, yes. Fair and square? I don't think so. Including them as they stand would not be fair bacause Obama wasn't on the ballot in Michigan. Including Florida but not Michigan isn't fair because they both broke the rules.

Uphold the rules. If you don't we will be in this situation in 2012 again. These states need to know rules are to respected and they should pay for it if they brake it. Otherwise why have the rules. Let all the states pick a date, totally uncoordinated and we will have primaries lasting two years. That's right no rule and New Hampshire schedules their next primary in 2010 or 2011

They are votes and therefore should be counted - regardless.

The Dems made their rules and as they (like the Repubs) are a centrally commanded group-the rules should be obeyed.

Its not too late to redo the primaries (as long as the taxpayers do not pay for it). That would be the best solution for a self created mess.

I think Michigan and Florida should have another primary. There was some fast shuffling which, what a surprise! ended with Hillary on the ballot, but not Obama.
