Mail Call for a Soldier

It's time for mail call again

But one soldier steps away

knowing there will be nothing

in the bag for him this day

 

He has no family back home

His friends are there with him

He's serving our nation

And no one remembered him

 

So please send him a card

Remove that bit of pain

He's an American Hero

Deserving of some fame
