Will we throw all the bums out and try to recreate the whole infra-structure from scratch?
Create the mischief and overwhelm such a fragile system almost like the end and the overthrow of the Soviet system.
Surely a revolution is needed, but be careful -now more than ever.
Do not listen to the voice of the masses.
Do not become deluded by the emotions of the moment.
It may cast us into a place none of us need go to.
If you are looking for the new -then be prepared to suffer the consequences of change.
When in your life has changes come effortlessly and without pain?

As far as I can see -if we would follow some simple solutions we could immediately change so many of our problems and as far as our energy problems.
If you live in the Southwest you know the sun is so abundant, yet why is it that the worlds largest nuclear power plant was built just fifty mile west of Phoenix the fifth largest city in the Country?
Solar there would revolutionize our economy and revitalize the world.
Now where do you think we should invest in wind energy?
What about the tornado belt of the midwest.
The states would be mandated to tap into our own resources to generate power and this we could see throughout the world.
What about fresh water?
Those states with heavy snowpack or rainfall could be the supplier for the rest of the world that doesn't.
Every place has it own energy consciousness.
Invest in these postive sources now and we can cure our energy crisis almost over night.
Where you live has a unique attribute to promote green consciousness and that will revolutionize our economy.
We are a country that people should always look to as friends we should engage everyone on the world stage in debates like these current ones to the world audience.
In that way we could discuss issues and common interests and anyone who is completely crazy will stick out like a sore thumb and world opinion would be directed accordingly.
From Chavez to Castro to Jung iL, you name them.
We can invite them onto the world stage and engage our enemies and many will become our friends.
Only a truly insane person does not want to be remembered as a great leader by his people.
Diplomacy in the new world is easier than an attitude of fear and resentment.
Why wouldn't everyone want to be able to grab the brass ring to a utopia where all peoples contribution matters!
These are just some of the issues that need to be addressed.

In July and August the midwest has a lot of sun, back-up to wind
Driving thourgh the SW you see a LOT of wind generators.
You are talking about energy. In the western states there is no need for wind, or solar power. There are thousands of places to put a hydroelectric dam that could supply power to the whole country and not use up any natural resources except some mountian canyons few if any live in anyway. Of course they tried putting in some more dams in WA state a few years ago but the environmentalists raised hell because some tree grew in the flood plane and they thought that was the only place it grew. They were totally wrong but they stopped the project.
Like oil it is a plantary resource and must be capatilized as essecntial for all animals-
It is a valuable resource.
Shale and methan from the atlantic shelf and razor grass as bio fuel and sulfur free incinerators. We can begin by destoying our waste material and whatever is indeginous to your area can be immediately implemented.
The Southwest is running out of water it has abundant Sun and heat- Hydro isn't a solution there.
We waste so much of our local resources as a way out of our problems.
Everything has a simple solution- it takes no more than the journey- which begins on our first step.
Get it out of your mind and see the possabilities.
I do not want to discuss unnecesary fears & problems- lets begin with immediate solutions.
Either you are a part of the solution or you are a part of the Problem!
