Two of my classic music perfomance entertainment videos have been removed from Gather without and justifacation.

For a long time some people had problems with me posting links to my Gather site steering them to my youtube channels, but now that Gather has videos someone flaggs videos such as this one- I have to ask who is this so called editorial team- the Gather police and censorship?
By what rights did they just remove this video without ever telling me and some other videos from my past productions and to this day they are still blocked to everyone.
This link is that very same video- So could it be about all my points that I am acquiring for a charity?- such as " The Make A Wish Foundation".
I have all the rights to use all my past productions, but someone seems to be playing games.
If this problem is not addressed soon then any mean spirited person can just destroy another persons work with out having anyone look to see what is going on.
If you do not like something just go somewhere else, but to play games such as this will drive real people away in vast numbers.
I do not know who has the power to block these videos, or to unblock them, but they are just music and if Gather does not address this soon then for everyone who has enjoyed my art you will find that I will no longer participate.
This is a real problem and has nothing to do with copyrights or anything- just an obvious abuse of power and someone has to step up and say - Stop this madness!
If anyone can just block someones work without someone in power checking to see if it is a valid reason- then why should anyone want to particpate on this site?
Tom and Carolyn and everyone in charge of Gather- Please address this situation asap- or what began as just a mean spirited persons act at destroying legitmate participation- This can turn into something truly ugly.
So either someone address' this problem or you will find people leaving here in mass, because this is not a place to share art in any form.
Check out my last article and click on the two links to see what I am talking about- It has nothing to do with anything more than a real abuse of power from someone and I am asking that whoever is doing it to stop now!
I have been a real participant on Gather for well over a year now and I am not a point whore- just someone trying to communicate- Isn't that what Gather is suppose to be about?
It takes a bit of time to digitze, upload videos' and why waste time if anyone can just come to the site and have someones art removed without valid reasons?
So whoever is doing it - Stop this childish behavior and let real people do their own thing- If you do not like someone -just find your own audience and leave people who want to participate alone.
I do not do this to anyone elses work and I would appreciate it if Gather addresses this abuse of power and stops this agressive nonsense or everyone will find that people will just come and destroy someones work , because they are just immature or mean spirited- I have many groups to post this and I will do it now- so that someone in a position of authority will act to stop this now! Or who or what will be next?

I do not steal material it is mine or if i borrow i always give credit and it is in the public domain, but these music videos are just two bands with some classic good music that I produced in the 1980s and I have added addendums to them like a dedication to a friend of mine who has since died of Leukemia and even the lyrics are not objectionable this is just someone abusing power and it must be addressed- so please everyone if you do not want this to happen to you contact your guides and Tom and get this to stop.
Life is way to short for such non sense and like i have said before- i do not swim in your toilet- PLEASE- do not Piss in my pool!

Mistakes happen- as frustrating as this is, please try to work with Gather, be clear about your position and figure out where they are coming from as well. There seems to be an attempt to try and understand your position, if Kevin's posting is any indication of that. I think it is.
I complained three weeks ago about the same thing! I have releases for my work and signed paperwork to support them!
I had two videos simply removed after working for hours to post. I wrote the Gather folks and waited, then removed all of my material. I couldn't believe they would just simply remove my stuff because some one (third party) decided that it was copyright infringement without even an e-mail asking me?
I told the gather folks that I have posted on several other sites and have had nasty, rude, and obscene comments but have never been treated as badly as the "intelligent haters" on Gather.
I feel that I could have continued on but no one ever addressed my concerns, but beyond Gather's non-reaction, why would other members be so nasty?
I think it is because folks here don't like video and they see it as a threat to "their" Gather
anyway very frustrating and just my opinion
From another point of view Dan- I clicked on your videos, but got a private message- you might want to look at that- you are obviously creative and forthright and you embodie the essence of what gather is all about for me and everyone who shares their time, be it a message in a bottle, a photograph, a simple concept that you share.
I have met some real people here on my network and I always give everyone the keys to my party- they will know where to find me.
In the end it only matters that you particpate and do your art and give it away, because you cannot take it with you and no one gets out of here alive.

If this is your art & work than they must have to repond to who ever is doing this. I had one once over disney charator's which I have seen since with no copy right violation on it. I paid for incredible XE mail for Gold & Premium . Alowed to use anything i get from that sight. but didn't feel it was worth my nor there time. I will go right now & see what you are talking about. I would like to take this opportunity to reach out to you in response to your recently published articles "Please anyone-tell me why Gather removed these videos'?" and "Who are the Mean Spirited people on Gather?". One of your videos had been originally reported to Gather by another member of the community for a potential copyright violation. This video has since been released by Gather Editorial and is now available for viewing on the site.
Your recently published article "Flagged for what?-When looking for the acceptance from my fellow man.." was also reported to Gather and has since been set to a published view that is only visible by you. If you have written permission to republish content, such as song lyrics from another author or site, please clearly state your permission at the start of your content and provide proper attribution. Using song lyrics without permission, even while incorporating them into larger works of your own, could still leave you open to legal action under Fair Use and Copyright laws.
Please make the necessary changes of updating or removing the lyrical content from your article. If applicable, Gather will then set your article to be visible to all once we confirm the content meets Fair Use and Copyright guidelines. As far as I can tell, these are the only two items that were held up for editorial review. If there are additional articles and/or videos that you would like me to check on, please e-mail me back with links to their respective content pages.
Thank you also for bringing up this issue of mean spirited behavior on the site. I would like you to know that Gather is currently working on a couple of site enhancements that will help to address these issues. Firstly we are developing a comment moderation feature which will enable publishers to moderate and/or remove comments that they do not wish to have posted to their content pages, on Gather. We are also evaluating ways in which we can make our content flagging system less susceptible to abusive flagging practices. As we get closer to rolling out these new features and enhancements announcements will be made on the site, so do stay tuned for that.
