How can we know how many people come to our Gather site?

Open letter to Tom and all the gather community:

I am a bit curious, because all the search engines of any significance are tied to Gather- yet we only see the community that responds and not how many people are coming to Gather attracted by our art.

The point system is okay, but at least Youtube gives you a somewhat of a counter and this helps me gauge who likes what and and some sites even offer me a track back- etc.

Anyone who contributes to the web should know how many voyuers the not real people that come by and never let you know they were there.

Like a thief that steals in from the night leaving behind no footprint only a feeling theywere there.

Many that need material come by just to gather the crop of sincere intentions' and what is written becomes the next- Oprah Winfrey or CNN article- Yes people are looking in all the corners.

So if Gather really wants to be fair and do one significant thing- they should offer a counter a trackback or a graph- for all of us that contribute to the community.

No one here will get rich on the points and most do so for artistic merit.

Time is the one thing that can never be replaced and I am happy you have given of your time with my creations.
