I had recently moved to Gig Harbor Washington and wanted to see what was happening in the community so I looked on- line and found this great Folk music festival- so I contacted the producers and wanted to become involved.
I find it very strange though and a lesson learned that when you offer something you better treat it as a gift and let it go, because for some strange reeason I was not asked to contribute for the third one and I feel they think they have a hit on their hands and do not want to share with anyone else the benefits of a real budget's.
If you get new people to donate and always work for free then you might make some money on it!
So they will not be having it at the same picturesque downtown area of last year, with the water and the beautiful scenery.
They have some field away from the water near an industial section and they think if they build it they will come and there will be money from it"
It is now 20 and 30 dollars to go!
They must be novices, because it was the scenery- the location and the performances and the timing , this was the true magic!
This next year will not be something I can endorse, because what goes around I believe comes around, but this was last years for everyone who enjoys some great Folk music!
I am sure you will enjoy these entertainers.
Such is life and we have to roll with all the punches.
But- if you want to attend Gig Harbor is beautiful this time of year and you will never miss for natural entertainment.
