perhaps this week I'd favour being Gemma Doyle from A Great and Terrible Beauty... she has the extraordinary gift to be able to travel to a different realm and make magic into a reality, and bring it back to her, glimpsing the real fantastical world that lay just a thin film away from our own. :)

Assuming you're talking about fiction....Sam Gamgee, the faithful manservant to Frodo Baggins in Lord of the Rings. This is because the friend who introduced me to the LOTR series sort of "role played" the characters, and Sam was who I chose to be. He was loyal to a fault.

As per non-fiction books, my pastor once compared me to Dorcas (Tabitha) in the New Testament, because of her work with a thread and needle. My work is a LITTLE different, but we both made things for others with our hands.

DANG its been so long since I read a fiction story. I mostly read political satire and non-fiction stuff.

BUT James Bond would be cool. Of course I'd rather be Dirk Pitt the U.S. James Bond of the scuba crowd.

OR hell the main character in Hugh Hefner's life story. LOL

I don't know there are so many characters I LOVE!!! When I was younger it would have been an easier choice, I would have chosen Merry Gentry fairy princess from the Laurell K. Hamilton series or anita blake because they get to have so much sex with so many hot guys or someone else of that nature! BUT now that I am older and happy in a satisfying relationship I have no clue what I would answer! LOL Probably Kate Connor from Julie Kenner's Demon Hunting Soccer Mom series or Betsy Queen of the Vampires or even the mermaid FRED from MaryJanice Davidson books! LOL Very very touch choice. I know I wouldn't say Dexter LOL I don't like blood! LOL AND IF YOU ASK ME Tomorrow my answers would be different depending on my mood, I might say KATE from Shakespears the taming of the shrew, or Beatrice from much ado about nothing. WHo knows?? LOL GREAT QUESTION TODAY it made me think!
