My father is....

My father is my HERO. My father is the man I respect most, and love most. He worked his butt off taking care of our family and making sure we always had a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, food on the table, and a loving home. My father is more than a father, he'll always be my daddy! I'm 28 years old, and I still call him daddy. He's special to me, and always will be. He worked 2 jobs for most of my childhood so that our mom could be a stay at home mom and take care of the kids.

My dad had a regular 9-5 job and then worked a graveyard shift at a very dangerous job at a gas station for several years. He would come home from his day job, eat something really quick, shower and head to his night job. He wouldn't get off his night shift until early in the morning. He would come home, eat, shower again and maybe catch an hour or two of sleep before heading off to his day job. He did this for several years. On top of all that, his night job was dangerous. He got robbed at gunpoint several times. He was almost stabbed by robbers several times, and one robber even tried to run him over with his car. My daddy put his health and his life on the line every single day to give us a better life.

For all the things my daddy has done for our family over the years, for all the sacrifices he made, for all the love he gave, and for all the wisdom he's given......my daddy is my HERO.
