Did your stimulus check arrive yet?

I heard on the news earlier this week that the stimulus check payments would start arriving on Monday, April 28th via direct deposit for those people with the last digits of their social security numbers ending in 00-20 who selected their 2007 refund to be submitted via direct deposit. So, I was super happy since we fall into that category. But, here it is, May 1st and still no stimulus payment.

I was just wondering if anyone has received theirs yet?

Darn, I should have had mine direct deposited. I would have had it already. I'm having mine sent by snail mail. Doesn't matter anyway when it gets here. I'm putting it in my pocket and not really spending it...maybe a pizza delivered or something like that one night to 'splurge'.

Ours will be either saved or used to pay bills....depending on hubby's checks (they fluctuate week to week since he's paid commission only). So it's not like I get to go on a shopping spree, I'm just hoping the money comes sooner rather than later!

No, mine will be deposited by the 9th.

Just rememeber if you filed jointly with your spouse it goes on the ss# of the first person on the tax form.

Thanks Chris...yep trust me....we know all the ins & outs of it....and the first ss# on our return falls into the category of being deposited by May 2

I guess mine will be deposited the third week in May, I am 92...my friend is 72, and hers is supoosed to go in the week before...we will see!

Hey, I just checked...it should be in your account tomorrow if your social is 00-20. They deposit them on Fridays. Mine is going o be deposited on the 16th!!

I don't qualify for a check. :-( My mother died and I inherited part of her IRA, and so the IRS decided I made too much money last year and don't need any more. It was like adding an insult to the injury of losing my mother. Just doesn't seem right.

Krissy, there's a calculator on the IRS website that will allow you to estimate your stimulus check payment and determine if you'll be getting one or not....maybe you should check it out.

Not me...I am on a payment plan with the IRS, so they will be keeping mine. At least it will help lower what we still owe.
