My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on the 12th of April.
Thanks to Kevin for putting together this photo below showing their wedding day, their 25th anniversary and their current 50th!
Their dinner party was last night.
It was a really nice time with all of our immediate family present to help celebrate.

Hi Kevin, thanks again for putting that photo together, they loved it!
We ended up getting them a Japanese Maple tree, one of the ones with the burgundy lacey leaves that has the short and wide growth pattern, kind of a dwarf. We also ordered a stone plaque (that hasn't arrived yet) to commemorate the occaion, they can put it under the tree. My nephews promised to plant the tree for them..we'll see if they follow through or not. LOL
This is great! They look like fine people for sure.
Japanese maple trees are beautiful - we have one in our yard. And tell your nephews to bring their good spades - I planted ours and it takes some digging!
Thanks Jonathan, I'm sure they'll be working up a sweat, most of our "dirt" here is really red clay, its really fun stuff to try and dig a hole in.

Marianne, the beard comes and goes. Around the holidays he lets it grow long and likes to wear red so he looks like Santa Claus, the kids love it.
That's cool David! My dad's birthday is tomorrow, he'll be 70!
