More functional email... including file folders for email organization. I'd settle for a button to get to the last/oldest page of emails or posts or images quickly.
Extra points for long, individualized comments, no points for cut and paste comments, of course, that's hard to monitor - other than that, I love it here at Gather! Salud.
I agree with everyone above, as well as I think you should be able to get cash option without hitting 3000 points in a month. Some people love the website but just lead to busy of lives to get that much, they should still be able to get the cash option. That's my opinion though. Overall, I love Gather!
I would like the stars to either be at the top of page or if you've already rated something you'll see your rating on the small view. That way you can know what you've already commented on quickly. :-)
I think anyone who rates a five or lower should be forced to leave a comment why. Even if it is only gather seeing it. After awhile the drive by low raters will stop or at least slow down.
It would be nice if all your connections were in list format if that is possible. That way I wouldn't overlook anyone. I never want to do that!! Is there a better way to find people that doesn't take hours?
Also, maybe if the writings could be grouped into folders? I know that would take some work, but then things wouldn't get buried.
