I was at work the other day. A small class of 3-5 year olds was being taught and they were coloring a sheet on their leapfrog desks. Now they each have their own headsets on so they can listen to the desk speak to them.
Little boy takes off his headset and walks over to little girl. He says, that her coloring is beautiful. She says thank you and he walks back to his seat. The teacher hears his comment. They are learning about cooperation and teamwork today and are all working well together. The teacher says to little girl that he is right, her picture is beautiful. Little boy hears this and shrugs his shoulders as he is proud of himself for what he said.
They were both very proud of themselves at that moment.
Moments like this take my breath away at work. To see the innocence and sweetness of children makes me appreciate my job even more.
