Well as if today wasn't stressful enough, I had a endoscopy this morning and came home and found my 14yo outside looking pretty uspet. She heard footsteps going up and down the stairs and heard the backdoor being unlocked. She did the smart thing and ran outside with her cell phone(and called everyone but the police).
I pull up with my friend who took me, still feeling the effects of the anesthesia. We walk over to her and ask what is the matter? She tells me about the noises and my friend goes inside and hears it too. Now I am figuring if it is a robber, they would have shown themselves by now. The other thought is that -oh pooh- the activity is starting in again.
The police pull up(I called them) and go inside to fully check out the house, and they find nothing. One cop jokes around that maybe we have ghostly activity. Me still under the influence..tells him we do. I never should have admitted it!
My friend decides to stay a bit longer and we begin a mini investigation, upstairs by my room it is alot colder and we all got the chills. I take out the thermometer and it does show the temp is lower than the other areas, but not that much. I couldn't find my EMF detector, and really...I am supposed to be laying down not investigating.
To be honest, I was mad! I yelled at the spirit "Why today? you had to do this today!) My husband is on the phone yelling at me for leaving her(she is 14 and didn't want to go), I am dizzy and not exactly feeling peachy.
My daughter wants us to move, but I explained that I believe that she is sensitive. No matter where she lives she is going to pick up stuff. I also told her..we know what we got- we move - we don't know what we will get.
Our spirit is not harmful or dangerous. It just scares the poop out of you at times.

why,,,???????????/
Trish- I feel bad for her she has had so many experiences this year in this house.
Jennifer, this one I wish I didn't tell!!..it's not fun when it is in your own house!
Trish, I did think of those things..but I was all doped up still from the procedure and this was one of those - you got to be kidding moments.
Olivera- not at all...
Lynn-it is so scary, especially if you think someone is in the house. Last year I ran out of the house thinking someone was in it. We talked and came to a conclusion..it is better that a ghost be walking around then a burglar!
Deb- over dinner we were just discussing this "gift", she doesn't want it and I really don't blame her. I told her maybe it won't develop anymore, but I really don't know.
Sue, funny you said that!! My oldest daughter's friend many year ago used to sleep over alot. One night as they were trying to go to sleep they heard someone walking around. They thought it was my husband. My oldest one looks in and sees that he is asleep. ..that was the last time the girl ever slept over or came over!!
Amanda- lol...I don't think so..this one has been around since I moved in...but...I do get afraid of that happening. Usually when leaving a known haunted area, we say prayers and respectfully ask/demand that all spirits remain there and not follow us.
Even when we stayed at Round Top Campground in Gettysburg, each night before going to bed we said prayers and requested that if any were around to please stay away! You don't want spirits looking at you when you are trying to sleep!! At these times my daughter becomes real religious!
Despite all of the haunted hotels I've visited, I don't know if I'd ever be able to live with a ghost. A sprite lingers around my house, but Lefty has so little energy I barely notice he is here. I had one friend who seemed bothered very little by the ghost in her house. Her family eventually learned to find their keyes in the potted plants.
I have gotten some stuff in my house on film, but getting back to her on Fri night by Lake Champlain, she was getting antsy and wanted to leave. She kept saying she felt something by us. I took a picture of her and there is an orb like circle with a female's face in it. On Sat night, in a different part of the lake we picked up a red image on film. To be honest the red image scared me when I saw it last night when I got home.
Most recently, I was told a janitor cleaning the room across the hall heard someone typing in a nearby cubicle, but when he looked behind its wall, there was no one there.
