I was just reading an article written by someone I think a lot of here on Gather that is frustrated. It made me think about what I tell my students so often about communication. I think that half the world's problems could be solved by better communication. I don't know why some people choose to let things get so out of hand before dealing with them. Usually, it could have been so much easier and even when it is a harder problem, is it going to go away if you ignore it? Not usually....
I don't know why I try to teach it to young adults when most of the time the adults I know including me can't take the advice...

My reaction? Some people are so unreasonable that there is no need to try. While I am not totally beyond being offended, most of the time I chalk it up to ignorance and move on.
Some people just procrastinate till the bitter end when they hate to do something or dread the thought of it. I guess it takes all kinds of people to make society work.
I have things to say (sometimes I shout them out) often I bite my tongue. I just don't want to bring a person into my emotions.
Just this morning, there could've been a fight between two of the managers at the McDonald's where I work. There was a lot of hollering and each putting messages on the computer for all the other managers to read. Either there is too much communication or there's not enough.
