In the beggining you showed me your mercy

Opening my eyes to myself

Exposing, without judgement or contention

My sins and oppression released

With all of your infinate knowledge

You gave me wisdom, a choice, forgiveness, comfort and love

Unconditionally

I accept, greatfully

I owe you my best,my all

I humbly sacrifice that I may be open to all

That is waiting for me

Oh Holy Spirit that dwells with in me

The source of your constant guiding presence

Is more than I deserve

I trust the foundation of our relationship

And promise to be obedient and grow

Your my lord, my master, my savior

I am so fortunate to know

A beautiful testament to your faith. As a poem, the first nine lines flowed beautifully, but after that this poem falls apart. I suggest you read it aloud and edit it to give it a deserved wholeness.

I suppose I need to take poetry 101, thank you for your comment William. I will soon be traveling and will have more time to study, can you suggest a book that may help me to understand writing poetry better?

Sometimes by studying other poems you can learn to write better ones of your own.

Thank you Peter for your comment ,I love poetry and read alot and it doesnt work in my case, if it worked for me I`d be a poetry scholar by now.
