Thank you.
I just wanted to thank all who read my article about my brother yesterday, understood my position and supported me. Yesterday I cried a lot. I think I needed to do that.
Today I'll be joining some friends for a barbeque, something I rarely do on Memorial Day. But I'm too far from my brother's grave and felt the need to be around some military people who know my story. They make a mean barbeque!
Coming to Gather and after being here a week or two, I wasn't sure I was going to stay. It seemed all too commercial for me because of the the points system and all. I decided to give it some time and I'm certainly glad I did. It seems by design or by accident I have found some lovely people that share themselves readily and who make me feel safe sharing myself.
Again, thank you!

Yeah, there is a huge mix of people on Gather. You just have to find the right crowd to be with. I am glad you stayed.
Different communities=different people.
I hope you have a good time at the barbeque. It is always nurturing to be with people who know our story.
Whenever you decide to write about your brother, we will be here, ready to read!
