You did it! Heather, you get points by commenting, writing articles and posting pictures, and inviting others to join Gather. No one knows exactly how many points you get for each activity, as far as I understand. People can really rack up the points once they make lots of connection requests because then lots of folks will see your material. I didn't understand points until about 2 months ago and I've been on Gather since last September. Oh, you get to get cool gift cards with the points but it takes a bunch to get something. To find out what you can get, click on the Points you have when you log into your My Gather page on top of how many connections you have.
Told you it could be done, especially with triple points! In the past 4 days, I've hauled in about 1,500 points...with another 5 days to go. My total for my first 102 days now stands at a little over 12,500...and still going strong. Welcome to the wonderful world of Gather cash!
I wish the point total would come back on, so I could see where I stood. Of course, I am not in the same neighborhood as Rob or Kjersti. I had about 1700 this morning before the number system crashed.

Before that I just thought they were there so you could see how long you had been on and had done something but not that you could get anything for them!
