Game~Your Worst Date Ever!!

Hehe... Laura's my first and only love, so I don't have bad dating stories, sorry! (Well, I probably do, but you'd have to ask her... ::grin::)

Not even one??? You had to have made at least ONE mistake in the game of dating? LOL

My worst experience was a date with a guy I didn't know very well, and he thought he could take liberties. He suavely draped himself across the gearshift at a drive-in movie to attempt to kiss me......ugh! >:-(( Live and learn!

My worst is something I still think about after all these years. It was a blind date with a lawyer...he took me to a jazz club...I HATE jazz. Didn't ask me what kind of music I enjoyed. They served only seafood...not a seafood person. All he talked about was himself and when we got back to my apartment he tried to push his way in after we said good night. Didn't speak to the friend who hooked us up for a long time.

Hehe... well, to be fair, I'm male. I think we're genetically required to forget unfortunate experiences as long as we're with the one we love.

This isn`t the worst but it will be the shortest.I was dating this guy (3 times)he was very negative and I spent most of the dates trying to get him to stop talking about the divorce (8yrs)past.One night on the way back to his appartment he wanted to stop to pick up a boxed chest.It was extremly heavy,he had one end I had the other.He couldnt handle his end and the box was literally beating him up,I couldn`t help but laugh,I ended up opening the box,taking out the contents and carrying them inside piece by piece .He was so embarrassed and upset he spent the rest of the evening in the bathroom.I`ve never met a guy weaker than me I had to laugh,heck I`m laughing now.

Honestly, I have NEVER had a bad date!

I'm 60 so have had a number of worst dates. The guy with the butcher knife in his glove compartment, the guy who I couldn't stand who wanted to kiss me good night and i didn't want to but figured ah, what the hell and when he kissed me this long soulful wet kiss i literally started to gag. try to hide that. and then he even asked me out again! i think i'll write an article on this very thing. oh the stupid guy who invited me sight unseen to his college prom and then ignored me all night (and no, i didn't look ugly or anything). he met an old girlfriend at this prom and followed her around all night trying to win her back.

OMG Clare...those are some bad dates? Was the guy with the knife at least a butcher for his day job?? It wasn't some guy who ended up being a serial killer or anything? Was it?? Not Dahmer right?

Wauw Jill, I do not think I have ever bed on such a bad dates. I never really did the dating thing too much as this is not a common practise in my home country. I did give it a try, when i fist started college here though, and I thought is was a bit of strange think - and what a jungle. I think the worst of the few was on a first date with a guy I had met on campus. It did not take long before he pulled out his modelling portfolio, and although the portfolio was great, it was obvious what his intent was. This was our last date! Not long after my now husband and I got together, and that was the end of bad dates for me.

It seems like I have been married forever I cant remember a bad date but I do remember one of the first dates I had. The guy took me out to a nice seafood restaurant and I thought it would be very romantic. I dont remember any conversation. All I remember is him shoveling down his food . He looked at me and said are you gonna eat that? Well that guy is now my husband , he still loves his food 25 years later...lol.

Can't think of any worse dates. Didn't do much in the way of dating mostly dated in groups until met my husband and by then I was nearly 20. He didn't take me on any bad dates.

Oh...I actually dated that guy for a little while after that...I was desperate for companionship at the time. He was by far the worst guy I've dated. He used to hold my hand as we walked around campus....then, if a girl with big boobs walked by, he'd suddenly ditch my hand...space himself about 3 feet away...and obviously check out the other girl.
The only good that came out of that relationship was that I met my husband shortly after. We were all in classes together. My hubby used to see how this jerk would treat me. We were just friends at the time, but he'd always tell me "I can't believe he treats you like that. If you were my girlfriend...I wouldn't do that to you." And I started to realize he was right...and now...almost 8 years later...here we are...happily married!

I ended up marrying the guy I had "two worst dates with"! So you just never know...a worst date can turn into a long term marriage.

The first day I was on the University of Alaska campus, Willy Brown, the RA told me about his best friend, Bill Evans, who had just come back from an archeology dig, but who had been a Vista volunteer in a remote Yupik village for several years. He thought Bill and I might have something in common...Willy thought I was a "mixed breed"....and "an easy mark" for his friend...course the date didn't turn out the way Willy thought it would. Bill was quite surprise to learn I was a Jesuit Volunteer from Boston!

Several weeks later Bill took me to downtown Fairbanks for our first really official date at a Chinese restaurant. Meeting several Yupik friends who plied me with Singapore Slings, I became totally wasted....so I was the BAD date!

Oh, I couldn't just choose one.

I don't think my bad dates could be posted without a flag, so I will leave it at that...

I think my worst date(s) were with a used car salesman I dated shortly after my divorce. No one particular date, but we would always go to nice mid priced restaurants (that he couldn't afford - so we'd usually go dutch, no problem for me) where the service was good to great. But he would ALWAYS send something back, complain about the service, and be totally rude to everyone. I was constantly backpedalling so the waiter or waitress knew things were okay, etc. He was also saccharin sweet to my kids unless his horrible little devil daughter with no manners and no discipline was around. Then he would yell at my kids or call them down every time the little brat whimpered. Naturally, he tried to get away with this stuff when I wasn't looking. Of course I dumped him. Then it was over six years before I dated again - thank goodness for internet services. My guy now would NEVER treat my kids that way, or disrespect me in that manner. I feel quite blessed.

I guess I'd have to say my worst date ever was the night my mother set me up with a young soldier when I was 18. He took me out to a Cinema and Drafthouse, groped me throughout the movie, took me to a motel, I was naive and young and didn't really say no, then he called me a cab and never called me again.

I think my worst date was my prom, when I was a Junior. I was pretty new to the high school so didn't expect to go but this guy asked me so I thought it would be alright. We double-dated with friends of his who acted like everyone was out to get them so had major chips on their shoulder, and my date was nice until we got to prom, when he tried to 'show' everyone that I was his for the evening. I was miserable and disgusted but thought I would try to make it through the evening so my mom wouldn't be disappointed - I was never so glad to get away from a "handy" guy....

My worst was going to a guy's apartment to pick him up and seeing what a revolting mess he lived in. Totally unreal; trash all over, roaches crawling over the dishes in the sink and on the counters, mold growing on food left sitting out....the stench! Argggh! I barely made it through the date...it was an early night and I never saw him again.

I had a girl (who I was not attracted to or interested in) ask me once what I was doing on May 11th. In February! I stammered for a moment before realizing all avenues were closed. "I don't know." Well, three months later I was at a Church Prom. Now, I'm not especially religious in a conventional manner, but have no problem with those who are. The problem was, this particular sect didn't believe in music or dancing....so church Prom was just a bunch of well-dressed teenagers in a room together (with an inordinate number of chaperones) for, I kid you not, 6 hours. To make matters worse, another girl who I didn't go with kept trying touching me inappropriately under the table (see Vince Vaughn's character in Wedding Crashers for visual), not stopping even when the Reverend came around to try to convert me. My goodness, I still shudder thinking about it!

Well, it could be the guy who got so drunk he fell asleep with his face in his salad (and then insisted that the waitress bring a bottle of wine). But honestly, it would have to be the first date guy who went in for a goodnight kiss while we were sitting in his car and at the same time shoved his hand up under my skirt. First and last date, needless to say.

Many moons ago. Blind date. First words uttered: "I have to remember to take my Lithium now or this will be a bad evening." It only went downhill from there.

worst date I ever had is that on valentine day suppose to go out on a romantic dinner with 2 couples we knew and he stood me up! On a day that was windy, cold, snowy and all dressed up to go and no where to go.

I can't remember a really bad date either....now I was a bad date once. My boyfriend at the time got us tickets to see the musical Chess. It was the afternoon after the college winter formal. We went last minute (entirely different story) so I borrowed a dress from a friend. I wasn't feeling too good that night and was coughing a lot. By the next afternoon, I felt terrible and my ribs hurt. I don't remember a thing about the musical, just that I wanted to leave. I was the one that had driven, and I didn't think I could drive back. My boyfriend had to call his parents to drop off his dad to drive us back to the college. My boyfriend couldn't drive a stick at all, so he couldn't drive my truck. Needless to day, my boyfriend's dad took one look at me and drove me to his brother's house to see his brother the doctor. I had a 104 fever and tore the cartiledge in my ribs from coughing. This laid me up for weeks and I had to drop one of my 3 science classes. Not only was the whole experience humilating, but the boyfriend tried to get even more serious. He actually proposed.

Only one comes to mind. I won't give her name. She was 19 and very pretty, but after 3 dates, I wondered if she had any idea how to make conversation. I was very surprised when she asked me if I could get a date for her friend and make it a double date. My friend John was a bit shy around women, but he agreed to this. Her friend was good looking, so we all decided to go to Canada to the horse track. These two women talked and talked to each other the entire trip and ignored John and me. On our way home, my date said she wanted to go back and see the horses. I told her it was too late. She pleaded like a toddler and I told her no firmly. When we pulled into a gas station, she reused to get back in the car unless I took her back to see the horses. A police officer came to us and asked what the problem was. I told him. He asked my date for a word and she came back and got in the car. I have no idea what this officer said to her. She was very quiet for a few miles, then asked her friend if she had seen the ducks at the racetrack. I told her they were geese. She said, 'No they were ducks' and got her friend to agree with her. Then her and her friend started saying they wanted to be reincarnated as ducks and started making quacking sounds. I never asked this girl out again. My friend John teased me about this night for years. Fifteen years later, My wife and I had dinner with him and his wife. It was the first time he had met my wife. After dinner, John asked my wife if she liked ducks. I burst out laughing.

It was a blind date, the guy showed up with a dozen long stemmed roses..not too bad, right..ugh..he looked like W. C. Fields..broken tooth in front, shirt did not cover his stomach..we went to the zoo..and then onto to lunch..ugh..ugh..and then he tried to kiss me..no..no..called me a few days later and wanted to take me to the beach. I was nice and said that I was not really into dating at that point and left it at that.

My worst date turned into my best! I was recovering from a broken heart and was set up with a new student for a birthday party. All through the date and as he walked me home from the student union he kept telling his friend he would see him in a minute. Well, I thought I don't need him! So it was a quick goodbye and turned around and walked to the student union where I encountered a number of my male friends. A couple of hours later I walked back to my dorm with my male friends and there stood my date! I thought it was so sweet that he came back to see me and walked toward him. His ego got a boost that I left all those guys to be with him. (Turns out he hadn't come to see me! I didn't know until a long time later.)

Tomorrow we celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary!

I have a million of them! Here's one: When I was single and living in New York I hung out with some cops at a "cop bar." At a St. Patrick's Day party I met a guy I was pretty sure was a cop, though he didn't seem to know the other guys. He was really cute so when he asked me out I said yes. He took me to Little Italy for dinner and post-dinner gelato. We hung out there a long time; his conversation was absolute bare minimum, though, and I started to wonder what why he didn't just take me home, as his interest in me seemed minimal at best. Finally he drove me home, all the way talking about how he'd worked as an "advisor" on some Cindy Crawford movie, so he was used to the "best " in women, looks-wise. I was sitting there thinking, is he insulting me? He gave me a hug at my door and I never saw him again. Later, I found out he was an undercover agent, in the organized crime division, and he was probably using me as a prop during a stakeout (I look pretty Italian). Nice, huh?

The guy with the knife in the glove compartment wasn't a killer but he did turn out to be married. I just remembered a date (through Match.com) who told me my lips were too skinny. LOL.

My worst date is when I was being harrassed by an actress and a wealthy haciendera(well known political clan)in our country living in our town... and somehow dated me when I was going for a theater.

and also the time that I was realizing, that I was being followed by girls in my town, which happened to be the owners of a food chain in a Mall, where I could frequently be found...

Them too were secretly dating me...

They keep on following for a time in the city... and found out until now they are not married... hahaha. They were in the chatroom central big time.

Well I love them for that...

But I hated truly the actress... when she laughed unrespectfully pointing with my Mom in her Van with her Bodyguard, maybe I misunderstood.

Or maybe it was her revenge, for not really recognizing her when I passed her in the mall one time with a fellow famous actor.

She stands 5' 7'' - an equistrianne champion and image model for Swatch, hispanic type, but he was very untimely.

I don't know what she saw in me...

Now she is married for I lived 10 yrs. apart since that day, now the wife a Congressman and heard they were defeated in the recent election poll in my town of Pasig.

That's the worst date and what I could call the worst times of my life.
