I have been doing searches for cheap and easy recipes for the past couple of hours and all of the ones I find are difficult or are spicy or have tomato sauce neither of which my hubby and I can have. Does anyone have any ideas for cheap and easy recipes? I would also like to find an easy recipe for homemade biscuits. I would love any ideas ya'll might have (crock pot recipes are great also).

Spicey is easy to remedy, just leave out the spice part.
If a recipe is based on tomatoes or sauce it probably can't be fixed.

-- for a cheap easy meal, add a can of tuna to a green salad and toss or stir
-- another one is to put a can or two of baked beans in the crock pot, along with crumbled ground beef or other meat (shredded beef or pork will work, as will chunks of chicken or turkey, or even chopped up hot dogs) -- I top mine with ketchup, and I call it "Chili Without Chili" because it contains no chili peppers)

I would use the recipes from this site too!
It sounds like it takes forever but not really. If you really want the perfect ones you can pour some flour on waxed paper. roll it out with a rolling pen, keep turning the dough double and roll several times, then cut with a cutter. I like just grabbing it up in my palms and rolling it around diipping it in the leftover flour in the bowl and getting into pan. It gets faster each time.
