A Shameless Plug for My New Book

As some of you already know, I recently signed a publishing contract. My book, “Flickertail & Paint, Barnyard Sleuths” is scheduled to be released sometime in the summer of 2010.

Meanwhile, I am attempting to keep myself from going stir crazy during what will feel like an interminable delay, by working on a second F & P and finishing those novels for an older audience I have already started.

I have also been working on various ways of promoting myself and my book so by the time it is released I will have a ready market. I am hoping I will have enough advance orders that I can justify having several books shipped directly to me for autographing before shipping them to their new owners.

I have included a bit of personal background here. I hope it will inspire other writers who are thinking about getting published. It even mentions Gather and the wonderful people I have found here. :)

It looks like they do. I would hope I would have some input but from what I have read from other authors they represent it doesn't seem so.
