Interracial Dating: For or Against?

Interracial dating has expanded and is flourishing in many states all over the country. However some are not in agreeance with interracial dating, some are extremely against it. How do you feel about interracial dating, are you for it or against it? Have you ever dated outside your race? Please explain answer!

Yes, a long time ago I dated outside my race. People are people. He was a dear friend and we had great times together in college. My brother married someone of a different race. In my family, we welcome and love them both. I thought my Mom and Dad, who are pretty traditional, would have a tough time with it, but they surprised us -- what a great example for the rest of us!

It's not really anyone's business except the people involved.

I'm not for or against it. I'm for people not letting outmoded societal mores determine their chances for happiness.

I believe that people should date who they fall in love with and race and sex shouldn't matter. I also believe that as long as both people are consenting adults age shouldn't matter either. People are people. If they are lucky enough to find love who cares who it is with?
