A Clean World

I have been thinking for a long time that we all need to stop polluting our planet and do something to clean up our world. I see trash on our highways and think why would anyone throw out their trash and pollute our wonderful, beautiful world. I also think I would like to find that person and ask them why in the world they would do such a terrible thing. I think about all the blessings we have been given here in the United States and how much we waste in our great nation.

We need to stop what we are doing and take a stand against pollution right now. We need to adopt a road and clean up the trash on our highways. We need to do everything in our power to stop global warming and we need to start with one person and that is ourselves.

If we do not stop polluting our world then not only will all the animals be extinct but humans will be extinct. I think about all the animals that we have lost never to be seen again. I think about all the beautiful rivers and streams in our State of Georgia and the pollution that is going on right now not only from big corporations but from just plain, ordinary folks who need to stop and think about what they are doing. Soon and very soon we will not have any clean rivers or streams. Our Grandchildren will not see the beautiful rivers and streams because they are almost all gone now.

Start today! Stop pollution here in Georgia and all the other states as well. Be proud of America and stop throwing out your trash on our roads. This is your land and my land. The home of the free and the brave. Honor your country by taking care of her. She will serve your children and future generations but we have to start today.

I refuse to throw trash out of my car. I throw it into the back seat and then clean my car out when I get home.

I just saw Artic Tale. The artic was so warm this past year that seals that migrate and rest only could find slushy ice that would not hold them up. This movie, it's cause and your article is worth more than 10

This is something we all need to think about and do Carla, I carry a bag in my car for mail , because I get it on the way out to my car most days, and I get so many magazines and catalogs, I don't ever even open them. So I keep a plastic grocery shopping bag in the car, and when it gets just heavy enough I empty the fliers and thngs into the dumpster and then refil the bag as it goes. I would never think of throwing things out the windows of my car, don't open them anyway , but don't understand why people do that and you can' t help but see the coffee cups, soda cans and beer cans along the road, and other trash as well, I often wonder, do they do this at home, probably.

We saw a show recently about the waste of plastic AND paper shopping bags. We are becoming more vigilent about taking our canvas bags to the grocery store to save all of those bags from going into the trash.
