$50 Gift Certificate

I am anxiously awaiting to reach my goal of enough points for a $50 Home Depot Gift Cerftificate I just turned the 3,000 point mark this morning.  I want to buy paint for the inside of my house. We have lived here for over three years and the only room that got painted was my daughters. She has since traded rooms with my husband (his office)

I have a friend that is willing to help me paint.  Actually, she paints and I talk as she said I can't paint very well after I helped her paint my daughters room. I tried!

 The $50 Home Depot Gift Certificate will make a dent in my paint costs and I can't believe by having all this fun on Gather that I actually will get some home improvement out of my time.

Let me know if you have gotten a gift certificate from gather what you did with it and if you didn't let me know what one you want and what you plan to do with it.

Let me know what color your walls are. Let me know how you are doing. Let me know anything so I can get the extra points I need!

Hi Heather. I have earned Home Depot cards here at gather and I agree, it is a great way to defer the cost of home improvements. I like to shop at Home Depot and find all the neat things to change the house around or make it look better. One thing I loved was a closet organizer. This was an amazing item that made my closet hold so much more and now I can find what I'm looking for.

:) White walls here. No gc earned yet. But It's a lot of fun doing what I used to do on message boards, and watch points accumulate for it, while working on my writing at the same time. Wow. ;)

Yay for you! When I first started on Gather, I cashed out for a few different gift cards and they came very quickly. I'm now on the cash option now and am saving up my money to take my family on a trip next year to San Diego, CA to see my brother and go to Sea World!!!

Still seems like eons before I will have enough for a gift card, but I would definitely get one for home depot. Having moved recently, it seems like there's an endless number of projects that require money around the new house :)

Well I have not received enough points to get a $50 gift certificate which I plan on waiting for and it'll probably be to Borders but from other sites I've gotten a few Macy's cards, Barns & Nobles and Walmart cards which all have been very helpful! My walls are white and me and my bf were talking about painting an accent (sp) wall. We will see though! Good luck with your painting!

I used one of my HD gift cards to get an electric leaf blower for my husband. I'm planning on getting another HD card soon.

Any future gift cards (from end of July through mid-November) will go to buy holiday gifts.

Isn't it a shame color is so expensive? Wouldn't it be neat to be able to just shoot it out of our eyeballs all over whatever we wanted?

Peter that would be great, think of the fun we would have! I'm an not sure what colors to pick. I think a tan might be nice. I have red leather furniture and lots of Campbell soup stuff. I want to put in wood floors where there is carpet. The hall and kitchen are tile and most of my furniture is dark wood. What do you think?

I just received my Borders gift cards last week. I was really happy about that. Nice to belong to a site that actually keeps it's word. So it's 3000 for $50 gift card? I'd like more Borders gift cards. I have my eye on some more books I'd really love to buy.

Dexter I think it's 3125 points and I was trying to get the last few I needed. I didn't want to stop for a $25, my eye was on a $50.
