So far I had the time of my life when I got my older two children back. It was a joyous reunion. The plane we took did not serve dinner so after my husband met us on the plane we drove to Manhatten where the city never sleeps. We stopped at a McDonald's and the kids were thrilled with out late night fiesta! This was in August 1980. I'll never forget that night!
When did you have the time of your life?

Time of my life was probably last summer when we had all three boys with us for three whole weeks visiting England.
Austin, you are so romantic! I almost said that, but I didn't marry Laura. tee hee
Elsie, you have a special love, and a man I would have been honored to know!
I had the time of my life when my kids were born and were little...And now, too. all of my live is great - lots of work and busy and tiring, but I enjoy it all, despite the busyness, craziness and fatigue.
Thanks Kathryn, it was many years ago but what a feeling to have them back with me! I remember each first time I looked in each of my children's face for the first time when they were born and to me it was a miracle from God. Then I checked the fingers and toes...(Smile)
One of the happiest times for me was when my Pastor decided to honor me along with older mothers of the church one mothers day. Plaques were usually given to mothers who had already raised their kids. But he choose to give me one even tho my kids were still young, saying that my children were exceptionally well behaved
even if I left the building. Wow,was I honored. Yep that was one of the happy events of my life because it meant someone was paying attention to the fact that I took motherhood serious.
