How do you know when something is at it's end
When let down by one who you thought was a friend?
How do you sit still when tears roll down your face
And try to stop the feeling of running out of the place?
How do you feel when you are shamed then ignored?
Then you wonder why you continue to give more.
I am a person who loves others so I give and give
I am always the first to reach out, to hug and forgive.
I waited but then I knew I just couldn't take more
Quietly I got up and went out the front doors,
Rather than continue to sit and cry in my chair
I just couldn't stop so I left to get fresh air.
It's rare I cry many tears as I keep them hid.
I was taught not to cry whatever they did.
Maybe I'm too ill to contribute much more
Maybe the time I put in is over for sure.

He was laid off May 31st, so this is very good news!
Thanks Elsie, I'm so relieved because it means we won't have to move! That is one of the hardest things to face and I hope you won't ever have to move either!
