I want to write. I want to write stories, books, poems. I keep telling myself I dont have the time. Truth is I'm sitting here on this computer for hours a day doing nothing. I have plenty of time. My next excuse...Where do I start? Do I write in pen first, or do i put everything on my computer? I use to write all the time, I was the kid in the creative writing classes with the thick notebook of stories and poems. The one with a book in her hand in all her other classes as soon as she was done with her schoolwork. I was the one who checked out 15 to 20 books a week from the library. Where did she go? I feel the need to start being creative but just cant get off my butt to do so. Do I write fiction. Do I write about my life? (which is probably stranger than fiction.) Do I write about being bipolar, what? I have ideas just dont know where to start it has been so long since I wrote anything except my journal. I guess that is why I joined gather.com

I always write of something I know very well; bipolar, depression, anxiety etc. I think of a title and for some reason it starts giving me ideas. I have notebooks all over the house for a sudden thought. Once the idea comes to me it takes over everything I think of. Eventually my hubby will come in and say, "hey, time to hit the sack." As I'll spend hours on how I want to arrange my poems. Seeing that you have bi polar write on how it has affected you personally. Persistence is a good word to describe it all. You'll be so surprised how it'll flow just from one or two words and goes from there! I so hope to see some writing that you do. I have a feeling you'll do very well!:)
let my mind go with what I was thinking and it all went into a
story. Then again I did the same thing, another story. Don't be
afraid of something that can't hurt you young lady. I did write
about my childhood experiences, they seemed good enough to
keep writing them. I have written 14 chapters already! I've been
asked to put these into book form! Try it Missie, I know that you
can do this, as you as brought up the subject yourself, yes?
You can at least do a haiku, here!
I so apologize as I just noticed I put Monica.:( I had a "brain fart" apparently. Hope to see something real soon that you write, I'm waiting.....:)
finally. My grandgirl has been hogging this
computer every day. And I can hardly keep
caught up with all me people. Where's that
story kiddo? I thought by now you'd have a
few of them under your belt! Go to your
computer and sit down with positive thought
about something you caould write up on and
jsut start typing and your mind will just open
up and you'll have a hard time keeping up with
the typing. Try it Missie, I did and now I can't
stop writing. Good luck to ya' kiddo.
