My Love is Forever

Rainbows and prisms,

Raindrops and gold,

Diamonds that sparkle,

Moments to share and to hold.

A smile freely given

A hug on the sly

Waking up with coffee

Made by my favorite guy.

The dawn of the day

Sunsets every night

The feeling that everything

Will turn out alright.

A letter of hope

The notes in a song

The feeling of forever

The need to belong.

The birth of a baby

The newness of day

The love of my life

Looking my way.

The end of a movie

He's holding my hand

Walking on the beach

My toes touching sand.

How long will life last?

I dare not to think

My love is forever

Until my heart sinks.

Carla, everyone has a talent, it is just a matter of finding it. Sometimes I can't think of a thing to write and then like this morning four poems tumbled out of my brain. Sometimes you have to loosen up and just let the ideas and words flow. If we set out to write the perfect poem or article it seldom happens, but if we just write anything down it may surprise you what you will find. Good Luck!

Heather, its been years since I have felt stuped for something to write. I find inspiration all over including the trafic, meeting someone eye to eye, work, fishing ...all sorts of things.

Thanks Spencer! I think of things but I'm not always in position to write it down and when I get to a place I can. I forget. Gather's publish button is magic. I push it and there is a blank screen and my brain goes into gear!
