Gather

I have only been a member of gather for a short period of time. I find that when I select the publish button that even if I have no idea what I am going to write once I see the blank space the words will start to flow.

I may not be making the points that others do on gather and that's okay. I think the points are a bonus round to being on this site.  I enjoy reading other people's work. There is an excitement to the newness of the material. I find when people comment it is encouraging and it is nice to know there are others who have similiar experiences or share my feelings. Likewise I enjoy seeing things I write from a different perspective.

The main plus for me is that I am writing again. I am writing very often and it makes me feel alive. I am giving and receiving all at the same time. It is nice to be able to share my thoughts in this kind of forum.
