My friends are awesome. I try to keep up with comments and I'm so prolific I can't shut up. I was just updating my profile and came across my pings. OMG! Thanks to my wonderful pingers. The only way I remember about pings is I have to aprove them and I get an e-mail when I get one. If not I would never remember that they are there.

I just discovered my pings. I happened to go to my profile page (not done often) and there they were. It's true. They should let us know somehow when we get one.

I just discovered my pings the other day and wrote an article about. I probably won't be pinging anyone. I don't do the email in here, either. I think I emailed one person in here in over a year I have been on here.

so .... what is the difference between a ping and an email? .... they are just the same thing but go to different places ...... at least, that is what it looks like to me .... I just discovered pings about a week ago .... had no idea that it was happening until I came across them by chance ......

anyone else on here notice the time stamp on our comments? ..... I just made a comment, and the time stamp says 11:10am EST ..... but, with Daylight Savings Time, the clocks were set ahead LAST SUNDAY [or was it Saturday?] ... and the time stamp SHOULD read 12:10pm EST ..... just curious ....

I always forget to check my pings. I wish they had a thingy up in the corner to let us know when we receive pings like they let us know when we have mail, or invites.

I did one ping in return for one received the very first day they were available. Now, not only do i not ping, I don't even check to see what I have.

They are like junior high school autograph books and I have been out of junior high for nearly 40 years.

P.S. - I get emails when I get a ping, I think. Isn't there a setting for them in you email communications section?

There is a setting to get emails, but I get so many emails from this site it's easy for them to get lost I'm sure.

K.S. Yes the time stamp is not in tune with daylight savings time it seems.
