All things seem possible when dreams are born.
Woven from the fabric of hope, greatness is created in the heart and mind.
So often though, reality will unravel those threads of possibility,

and ghosts quietly occupy the space where dreams have died.

When I was a kid, we used to make the drive from Hamilton to Syracuse at least twice each week, and I passed the time gazing out the car windows. There were certain old buildings that your photo brings back to mind; one old farmhouse weathered away the years and finally collapsed in on itself, leaving just a foundation footprint and the surrounding plantings. Then, one day, we drove through and found a soulless strip mall in its place.
:-(
I love the way you put the perfect pictures with the words. Or was it the other way around?
This made me cry, Tonia.
And, Tonia, beautifully written and perhaps so true... I like to cling to the possibility as long as I can though. : )
Wonderful, Tonia.
This reminds me of Tanya Tuckers, "Bidding America Goodbye."
If I need a good cry, that song will do it every time.
Life is a series of challenges, I agree...but, that's what makes us strong. Take heart, my friend, better days are coming.
